    I don't know if its just the college I am going to be attending or whether all colleges do it...but I've been given 'enrollment' tasks to complete for the day I start my first year at college, this is the task;

    'Identify 4 different examples of advertising and make a suitable copy (screenshot, photo, summary using words). For each advert try to identify the marketing appeal. What message are they trying to sell? Using the task sheet from the taster lesson to help, try to re-express the message of each advert as a syllogism. (Off-roading is great: Our car loves off-roading; Our car is the one you should buy)
    Is it using deductive or inductive reasoning? Is it valid/sound reasoning?
    What are the flaws in the message from the point of view of logic? Outline a reason for your answer (one paragraph/advert).'

    I didn't attend the taster session and although I did RE GCSE, I have no idea where to even begin with this!!

    I'd be more than happy if anyone could help me out here!

    Sorry you've not had any responses about this. Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

    You can also find the Exam Thread list for A-levels here and GCSE here. :dumbells:
