Accommodation in Leeds

I am going to Leeds College of Art in September to do a Foundation Course. I am looking at Car Mills and IQ student accommodation.
Anybody recommend either of them or any other? Is the walk from College safe, is the social life good?

I would say you should try using student accommodation sites to see any details and find the best accommodation for yourself . use sites like pads for students etc , I've used PFS you should try it for yourself.
