Dr Martens killing me after a year!

    I bought a pair of Dr Martens shoes about a year ago, primarily for work because I was sick of buying cheap shoes that fall apart. Anyway, after a year of wearing them 5 days a week, I still come home most nights with really sore, aching feet. The past few weeks I've been doing 10 hour shifts and the pain is crippling when it gets to the last hour or - heels, arches and ankles!I don't have this problem with any other shoes that I own. Is this a known problem with Dr Martens? I know people say they take a while to break in and not give you blisters, but after a year, maybe my feet aren't built for Dr Martens! Does anybody have any other 'sensible' shoe suggestions?
