Future ambitions
Cambridge and then research/development in pharmaceuticals

Bit annoyed about geography. Have been getting As all year now got a B. Means I'll have to learn case studies etc all again next year. Quite chuffed with chemistry, considering I started the year with an E.

Future ambitions
Hoping to get into Bath/ Surrey for accounting and finance

It's results day!
Hey guys :hi: , the time has come for you to receive your results! Some of you may have been emailed your results or have logged in to your college/sixth form portal; for others, you will have to go collect your results in person. Having been a Year 12 student a few years ago, I can tell you for nothing that you feel just as tense as GCSE results day! I would highly reccomend that you check out this article that the lovely people at TSR put together just for you guys about AS results and what to do next.

So we've set aside this thread, where you can post your predicted grades and your exam results. In the past few years on TSR these threads seem really popular so we're carrying on the trend :colone:

Feel free to congratulate each other, however we do have the official results day thread for you to use, solely for chatting with others in the same boat! Also you might wanna consider saying your goodbyes in the Year 12 thread and introduce yourself in the Year 13 thread as these threads are very common and are a great way of getting to know other people in the same boat, so to speak :ninja:

Please check out the A-level results day hub, which has links to many relevant articles that you will find useful!

On behalf of the Community team and TSR support team, we wish you the best of luck with your results, whatever the outcome!

I'm quite pleased with my results; I was hoping for at least an A in one of my subjects but oh well. In Maths, I got 97/100 for C1 which I'm very proud of but S1 let me down (55/100, that's why I got a B instead of A) hence why I'll probably resit that module next year. General Studies- well, I've never actually attended any of the lessons due to Further Maths so it was inevitable that I got an E even though I tried my best in both papers.
Future ambitions
I would like to study Chemistry or Mathematics at either Durham, Warwick, ICL, York or Birmingham; hopefully my predicted grades at A2 will be good enough for those unis. I'd like to study abroad during my degree as well.
Law: C
RE: C
English Lit: B (This surprised me because I was taken ill in the first exam)

General Studies: DPsychology: U

I'm not bothered about those last two!
Yeah I did the new history course.
Edexcel: Germany -1879-1978 somewhere along those lines.
Italy- Mussolini and dictatorship

It's all about whether you're interesting in doing it and getting those grades.

Also, this exam was much easier in its linearity than the modular equivalent, which is strange to say.
