Hi, I'm in a really unfortunate position right now, I've missed the deadline to apply for student halls as I deferred university last year and my window of time was in June, I thought it would be possible to wait & apply with my friends who got their results in August, stupid me. I've now been told I have to go on a waiting list from the 5th of September and wait for people to drop out etc & their room could potentially be made available to me. I'm just wondering if anyone could shed any light on how his process is? What are the waiting times like, do people drop out often? The halls i wanted to go to were Cambridge.
    Thank you.
