Hey, I'm currently going to start Y12 at Harris Westminster but, according to them, it is compulsory for you to do 4 a levels up to A2, and strongly discourage dropping one and continuing on with 3. Is this worth it? How hard would it be to do 4 a levels well?

    Should be fine.

I am autistic and dyslexic and i am waiting for my 4 A level results. Its perfectly doable. So long as you do homework straight away, revise for tests/exams in advance and thouroughly know your specification and do as many past papers as poss its easy. I would never consider doing just 3. Do 4 for 1st yr, if its too hard then drop 1, but may as well try 4 and get used to the work load ready for uni.

I'm autistic too. Don't act like it doesn't give us academic superpowers.

If you're going to Harris Westminster I think you'll be fine doing 4.

Sending 50% of its students to Oxbridge, geez...

Yea, it defo does my brother, unfortunately im not as bright. I am good, im doing (and will pass) my A levels, but i struggle😞. I was in the lowest set throughout school and i have to study every day as i forget stuff so easily. I get 9 hrs private tutoring each week so that helps a lot. My brother however only has to look over stuff a couple of times and can pass his exams, he dont study at all. He is good at most stuff but esp science, math and ict. I was ok at science, useless in math and ict, but did (barley pass) math and science gcse👍. On other hand im good at philosophy (i like arguing my point), geography and geology etc and my superpower is scuba diving, i am a master scuba diver and hope eventually to work in that field, a marine geologist would be great. As my mum says, we are all naturally good at something and just because we are autistic doesnt mean we are any less, i like my uniqueness and i would say its helped with philosophy😀.
