Mate I haven't even gotten to second order differentials and you're tagging me in a third order differential...

I thought you did further maths.

I did but we didn't do FP3 in which second order differentials are covered. I'm self-teaching myself that over this summer but haven't gotten to that yet.

Don't you need three arbitrary constants or is that only if the coefficients are constant?

Oh yeah I forgot one. Edited it now.
I think that there are three arbitrary constants for third order regardless of whether there are variable or constant coefficients.
