The latest figures from UCAS are out:
28,300 Scottish applicants have been accepted to higher education so far this year; an increase of 1,300 people, up 5% compared to SQA results day in 2015. Almost all of these (27,400) have been placed at a Scottish university or college.
Mary Curnock Cook, UCAS’ Chief Executive said: “Congratulations to everyone who has secured a place at their chosen university or college in Scotland. These figures are an encouraging snapshot of Scottish higher education, particularly as a large majority of the country’s applicants are placed by this stage.
At 10am Scottish studenst will be able to add a Clearing choice to Track, in 2015, 1,750 Scottish students found a place through Clearing.
Scottish Unis in Clearing currently - courses are few and far between which was expected - worth a look though
