post grad loans

I have just been offered a place on an MA TESOL starting Sept 2016, thinking that because I don't have a Masters level qualification that I would be entitled to the new £10K post grad loan that comes into play from Aug this year. However reading deeper into this situation I discover that my entitlement to this loan might be questioned because I have a PGCE. As far as I'm aware my PGCE had no MA components but would be very grateful for some insight into my post grad loan chances...am I grounded just before lift off!?

I'm not 100 percent on this but I am pretty confident :

PGCE is classed undergraduate and not classed as post grad on student finance - people applying for a pgce cant apply for a post grad loan they can apply for full student finance funding

I'm pretty sure you can get a post graduate loan but give them a ring on 0300 100 0031 and they will be able to give you 100% advice

cheers
