Does not masturbating = low testosterone

Yeah does it mean low test, I have never fapped. I have tried a few times, and now i feell that recently I am losing "sexual emotions". I see a girl around and sometimes think "shes hot" but thats it. I dont feel aroused by pics and vids on the internet, I am reluctant to sit down and get hard.

I go gym nearly everyday and do the compound movements which are meant to increase hormones anyway

Whilst I'm not 100% confident with the whole "NoFap" movement, I believe there is some truth to what they say.

In theory, no masturbation = more testosterone. The idea behind that is research suggests your testosterone levels increase every day you refrain from masturbation, reaching a peak on the 7th day (40%-ish increase) and then cycling through again. I believe athletes have refrained from masturbation in the past for this very reason. Other theories included increased confidence, self-esteem, muscle growth and drive. In comparison, masturbation frequently (especially with porn) can lead to addiction, low self-esteem, depression etc. If the NoFap community is to be believed, then not having any sexual emotions is what they call a "flatline" which is a brief period of basically being disinterested in sex. It should pass.

It could be medical reasons as to why you feel this way, so I suggest seeing a doctor. It could be low testosterone for another reason, or it could be something else entirely.

Lack of sex drive doesn't automatically mean low testosterone. Not saying there's no correlation, but if you just stopped masturbating then gradually it makes sense that you'll start to lose interest.

Thing is I have never fapped, I have tried some times but I either dont know/ it just doesnt work

Hmm just searched up demisexual and i think I can relate maybe, thing is before I would look at some lingerie models and would want to sex them this has just decreased recently
Once you fap, you wont be able to stop!! :biggrin:
