RAF BRTC - Medical

What medical (if any) is done at RAF BRTC?

My pre-joining medical was quite complex: initial medical, reports requested from my doctor, reports reviewed and declared unfit, waiting period then more tests, and finally a successful appeal. It's taken a lot of time, but finally I have the okay and am going to start BRTC soon.

Is there going to be another medical as part of BRTC? If so, will they go over all the past history again? (in which case I'll make sure to bring all the reports etc with me) Will they do any new tests? It's airman entry for the reserves, if that makes a difference.

No, they won't do any other medical tests as such. Within your first few days they will take you to the med center to be jabbed up and to check over your dental health, though. :smile:
