14 years away, but that'll soon be upon us. How old will you be? What do you hope to be doing? And what do you think the world will be like then?!

Well considering the more mature student and depending on their lifestyles, I would say many things, the most important to keep busy and look after ones health.. lots of avenues for them to peruse with their newfound educational awareness of what ever course material they have studied!

Probably fighting a world war or something....
I'll be 32 :s-smilie: I think it'll go either of those two ways

1) Alone, childless and with a lot of puppies.
2) Married with lots of dogs with a big house near the forest ^.^

I'll be a dirty thirty three and eating watermelon on a free range dog shelter with my spouse, listening to the soft sound of birdsong and the gradual collapse of capitalism. Our legion of adopted children sing and play with the hose, the eldest while working the field, and we have forgotten all concept of money. Chickens graze at our feet. We raise our coconuts, and toast to blue skies in Beijing.

lmao jk probably losing hair over whatever project i'm doing at the time and sitting on my laptop late at night with a glass of wine and crusty eyes. Maybe counting on my fingers and toes how many thousands of pounds in student debt i've yet to pay off, which is more than expected once the government retroactively increased tuition fees to American scale. Childless, though, so not all bad

Or maybe I'm a sister-wife in Utah, enrolled into the latest cult due to the onset of the apocalypse. Reeking of desperation and vaporub, every full moon I escape aboveground, braving wolves and radiation sickness, to lay flowers at the grave of my hopes and dreams.

Well if you will be fighting a war, I may be gone already from the shock of that thought!

Do I know you?
I'll be 41*

****.

I'd hope to be settled, happily married with a family (3 kids, cat and maybe a dog). A nice house and a good life. in reality I have no idea if that will happen. I'll probably be just as clueless about what I want as I am now!*

I think the world won't be too much different. There will have definitely been a couple of wars. I think we will be a lot more connected through technology and everything will be done via drones.*
I'll be 31, hopefully as an english teacher while doing some freelance journalism and writing, travelling when possible and maybe running a business, charity and a successful website/blog

I'll be 32, I'll be out of education I know that, and the rest is a mystery. Hopefully still alive I guess..?
I'll be 30 by which time I hope to be in some sort of serious serious relationship.

But i am not sure if I want kids , why would I want to bring more suffering into this world.
I was actually in a state of shock when you said its only 14 years away

Hopefully I'd be doing a job I enjoy which pays well.

I guess technology would've advanced a lot and we would be more dependant on it. Perhaps there would be some conflicts, maybe North and South korea going at it again. Who knows:dontknow:
I'll be 33 woaah! A lawyer, married and hopefully a kid but if that becomes true though 😂

2030, Chelt-en-Thames, westernmost colony in the Confederated Archipelago of East-East Florida Keys:

"Daddy, what's a Brexit?"

"Never mind that, Profesh Jr. You just keep shovelling those left-over brown people into Trump Crater, else we'll never make Mecha-Farage's quota in time for afternoon gin and tartiflette."

Fin.

Most likely in Italy, teaching Mathematics and beginning to get grib of business I'm going to make.
I'll be 32, hopefully with a PhD in physics/particle physics etc and working somewhere in a lab.

I'd like to be a mother by then and be married, if only for ease and stability. Also, would like to have traveled a bit.
I'll be 31. Hopefully living/soon-to-be living either in the south of England or in California, USA. With any luck I'll have a PHD in History and be able to teach at university level as well as research into my specialism and contribute to the historical community as an academic (or be on the path to be doing by 2030).
