Muslim imam and assistant shot dead in New York

An imam and his assistant have died after being shot dead on a street in Queens, NYC. Police are investigating whether it was a hate crime, terror attack or whether the attacker knew the men that died.

Interesting how no one has posted about this on TSR yet they post about other shootings/attacks with lightning speed.

So much pointless death every day... the fact that it was close to the mosque and that they were probably wearing traditional religious attire makes it seem like it was prob a hate crime but we'll have to wait and see

Who knows who will be next? It could be you... or me... even the most powerful aren't safe. So don't hold grudges. Hold those dear to you closely, love them while you have them because one day you won't.

Is there any suggestion it was a hate crime other than the BBC's transparent desire for it to be one? Isnt queens mostly a ghetto full of shootings?

I remember recently there was a Imam murdered in the UK in a school playground whilst
walking home from the mosque , the media and people had a hate crime as number one suspicion.

Argh violence isn't going to solve anything. If this was a hate crime, surely the person who did it must have a brain cell which realises this imam 99.999999% likely doesn't have anything to do with ISIS

Queens is a large area of NYC. There are some ghettos but most of it is quite safe.

Police have said the murderer had a "medium complexion". Smh. Are we not allowed to use ethnicities to give descriptions of violent people, still on the streets, that may pose a risk to society?
