Has anyone experienced racism at all applying for part time jobs?

I haven't, but I'm white in a majorly white community, so I couldn't really comment. You are legally not allowed to be discriminated because of your race, so if this happens (and they tell you about it) then you should report it immediately.

If they don't comment on your race, I don't see how you can say it is definitely a race issue, though. Many people have problems getting jobs and there's a girl I know who makes out that everyone is being racist just because she is struggling to get a job. Sometimes you need to focus on the other things rather than jumping to conclusions and blame that it is about your race.
