Basically, i'm waiting for my results on Thursday. Through UCAS I have applied to Brunel. However, I really want to go East London Uni. I know the ranking is bad, but for some reason i am in love with the uni. AND its in a cheaper surroundings so it can give me a strong hold in first year. However in second year, I would like to transfer to a better Uni, say like Queens Mary, or say Kings College London (depending on this years results and first year uni results ofcourse) or even to Brunel Uni. Ill be applying for Business or Business and IT. what is your opinion? Can I even do this, considering how low UEL has its rankings?

Rankings don't matter. Your grades, whether the uni accepts transfers and whether they have space or not will make a difference. Contact them and ask but I think you'd be better off going to Brunel.

You sound rather indecisive, wanting to switch unis but then wanting to transfer after first year.
