I'm an EU student that applied to a postgraduate loan and I received confirmation by my national post office that the documents I sent as proof arrived last Saturday, the 13th, including my national ID card, which is kind of important, specially considering I have to travel to the UK in a month and need it.

Could you let me know what is the usual waiting period for analysing the documents and returning them?

The last documents the Student Finance sent me took 10 days to arrive.

    Thank you in advance!

Hi Ana, ID evidence can take up to 6 weeks to be returned. We advise students not to send if travelling within 6 weeks. It is currently taking us 3 working days to process ID evidence. ID evidence being returned abroad will be returned by airmail and we do not have a timescale for how long this will take to be returned. Thanks
