This does not make any sense.

The sugar tax will result in everything being stuffed full of artificial sweeteners, we'll have little choice just explosive diarrhea drinks.

Good. May is shaping up to be more conservative than I first thought. The grammar schools, now this.

B-b-but how will people know not to eat junk food now?

Here's a suggestion, learn to cook your own food using basic ingredients and don't add artificial poison. Do you think Coke Cola is good for you regardless of what it's stuffed full of sugar or aspartame?

I agree - if she delivers Brexit properly she will win a landslide election in 2020.

You don't need high energy drinks, do you think these existed in the neolithic era?

Right, so lets get this straight, you're against micromanaging peoples lives but like micromanaging others, you're against government interference but all for a sugar tax and getting rid of sugary drinks? You seem like a deeply confused individual.

Sugar tax is stupid though. People probs won't stop buying sugary drinks, they'll just be wasting more money. And like all taxes of this kind it hurts people with less more naturally

I was about to flip after that title, but seeing the alternative, she has a fair point. Not advertising isn't going to stop people eating it is it? But reducing the sugar content and fat content, will reduce the sugar/fat intake of the people eating it so not a bad plan overall.

How about some will power? Glad she did this.

A great deal of the advertising is aimed at children. How much will power do you feel a typical 12/13 year old has?

Then what the **** is the point in advertising?

My point is that advertising is done to increase the number of customers, but if they stopped advertising all together, that's not just going to stop people eating at them. E.g. It's illegal to advertise smoking, yet there are hundreds of people who still smoke on a daily basis.

Since it was made illegal we've seen a huge fall in smoking.

I'm winning because Shariah May has learned her place and backed down.
