I just received my results today and I got:

    Maths: B
    Physics: B
    Economics: B
    Computer Science: C

My heart is set on doing Computer Science at Durham but I don't know whether to wait until after A2 until I apply or apply now. The requirements are AAA but my college rarely predicts above the achieved grades. Is there anything I can do express my drive and get those predicted grades? Could I ring Durham and tell them what I am aiming for regardless of my predicted?

    Hi there,
I am sorry to hear that you did less well than expected. It's unlikely that Durham would respond to a verbal prediction from yourself.
You can either lower your sights or if Durham is non-negotiable, consider progressing to A2 and making a post A-level application and doing a gap year. Good luck!

Life is what YOU make of it.

I think you should go for it ring them up and see what they say. Also if you are passionate and confident that you will do well in A2 I don't see why your school will not predict them for you. Talk to your mentor she will be able to advice you best.
