Bursary

Has anyone heard from york yet, letting them know how big their bursary is for their first year?

I've got my assesment results back from the slc just waiting for york.

I got my letter through, last year, about a month before the start of term.

I've had my letter. Can't remember the exact figure but it's a lot ;yes;

yeah I've got mine. I think its great that they're handing them out as it will help me alot I think. Just one questions though, how come the first payment isn't until Feb?
it may be (altho this is only a guess) so people get the money and then drop out of uni, where it's difficult to track you (ie: close bank account etc). Most ppl have already dropped out before Feb if they are going to

I think there's also an assumption that you will have money saved from working during the summer to help you through the first term.
