Hi for my AS level results i got

    E (Chemistry)
    E(Maths) //C1(B) //C2(U)// STATS(U)//

Can i get some advice on what you guys think i should do? Is there any chance I can continue onto the next year? Or will i have to re-do the year.

I was planning on asking if i could retake c2 and stats next year and ask if i could carry on with my chemistry course next year too, as i really dont want re-do the year again

I also know 100% where i mucked up, and that was doing absoloutly no work for most of the year. I managed to pull my C1 up from a U to B 2 weeks before my exam, but it wasn't enough time for me to pull my other grades up too

If you are actually going to work from here on in, resit the year, absolutely.

100% re-do the year, you dont wanna go to A2/full A-level, what ever they call it now, with your kind of mindset ( no offense ); you just learnt from your mistakes, best thing to do is start again, in a year that has a lot less pressure and demand.. You'll know what to expect and can slowly build up to what you should have been 2nd year of A-level.
2nd year also has Uni always around, deadlines and other stuff, AS, first year is nice and simple, just re-do it...

Some people will tell you to carry on, but be honest with yourself, are you willing to put a ton of extra effort, to get a better grade ?
most just arent. think about whats best for you and your future, at the end of the day in 10 years time, 1 extra year at A-level wont mean much, if you get much better grades.. ( then again you dont really need great grades to do well but they help, but thats another story)

Thanks for the replies!! I would re-do the year but i don't think i can take the fact that my friends will be moving to university when i am starting A2, and also not having any friends in the year below will be hard on me
