When should I apply for GDL funding from firms, and actual GDL course?
I just finished studying my first year of a non-law degree, I'm looking to complete my current course in June 2018, then hopefully go on and study a GDL then LPC.
My question is when should I be looking to apply for firm funding of the GDL. Considering the fact that I would be hoping to start a training contract in September of 2020. If the firms say to apply in summer 2017 for 2019 training contract start (taking into account that this is for those who don't need funding for GDL as they are only doing LPC), when do I apply as I need a year extra, but will also need financing from the same point in time?
