So i got my AS maths marks back and there was no grade from the three units but the UMS add up to greater then 240 so i assume thats an A but its cause they arent cashed in that no grade is there.
Anyway, i was wondering what you think of taking up AS further maths next year or if there is no point unless i do it to a full alevel? Currently doing just three alevels of Chem physics and maths. Most people in my school take 4 but i didnt want to take biology and i dont really need 4 alevels from what i can see from the uni pages. So im quite lost on what to do as ill apply to oxford and some other good unis for physics, id have to self teach any further maths units as well. How hard would it be as most unis want 3 alevels and i dont want it to affect my other grades as well and base my offer on 3 alevels so would take "AS" further math even matter? I doubt id be able to self teach full further maths in one year
Alevel further maths to take or not to take question (Edexcel)
