these books were used with us at college for AS

Psychology for AS level - michael w. eysenck

Psychology for AS level - Mike Cardwell, Liz Clarke, Claire Meldrum

these are really in depth text books but the second one has everything you will ever need to know for the AQA A specification

and a little bit of advice - thoroughly memorise every key study grid!!!!!!!!

hope that helps =)

oh yeah - enjoy your summer!!! i wouldn't worry too much as i had never done psychology before and i didn't read up on anything and i coped fine =)
Yep, don't worry, enjoy your summer. GCSE Psychology, from what I have seen, is a joke (although they're changing the multiple choice paper to make it harder), and A Level Psychology is pretty much a memory test anyway, so unless you're really interested, I'd get the Cardwell, Clark and Meldrum book out of the library.
