UKCAT tests and early entry for dental hygiene and therapy?

I'm planning to apply this year for a 2017 Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy course and I had assumed a UKCAT test was only for proper medicine and dentistry. Now I've just found out that Newcastle and Cardiff require a UKCAT test score.... so does this mean all universities do??? Does this also mean I have to apply early in September? So confused-freaking out.

they don't require ukcat.
Looking at it I think Cardiff does but Newcastle doesnt
And possibly Manchester and Queen Marys looking at the course codes.
For 2018 entry though
