    Hi guys.

I hope everyone got what they wanted this results day!
I had some problems. I have an offer to study Medicine at Glasgow subject to me achieving AAA. I was 1 UMS off of an A in Biology despite getting an A at AS, and almost full UMS in two of my A2 units. I do OCR Biology and in my Unit 5 paper I lost almost 50UMS despite it being a good paper that I felt went really well with very low grade boundaries. I spoke to people in my year after the exam and there was a general consensus that the answers we all put were right and they have all achieved 130+/150 UMS whereas I have 102UMS. The only difference is that I had used a few sides of additional answer space. I have sent a request for a priority remark which my exams officer said should be back by Monday. I only need 1 mark to go up into the A grade boundary but was genuinely hoping for an A*. I was wondering what the chances were that my examiner had not looked at the additional answer space, hence costing me roughly 50% of my marks? Glasgow have told me that if my remark goes well, they will still offer me my place so I'm really nervous about the remark.

Any advice would be really appreciated!

Very small, but it is possible.

There's no point asking us for advice, you're just going to have to wait until the re-mark result comes back.
