I go to a college that is described as a sixth form college, I assumed this was the standard description for a college for A Level students, but I have heard lots of people who say they go to an FE college. What is the difference?

A FE college only teaches Alevel or equivalent and above

However my FE college has a "high school" for year 10 upwards but to maintain their status as an FE college it is a separate legal entity
