What to study for a future job prospect ???

Why bother with a post grad course - waste of time? 17-10-2016

I'm thinking about my future job prospects.
I would like a job that pays quite well but also that I enjoy.

I'm a female and I enjoy football, TV such as Eastenders, Xfactor.
Ive thought about joining the army before because of the adrenaline rushes you would get. And working at customs would be quite entertaining.
I also find the sea and marine life interesting and the unknown parts of the sea.

If you love a job, the pay should not matter too much because you enjoy it which is the thing that counts the most.
The pay should be a bonus not a must for a job you love afterall, a person shines brightest when they are doing the thing they like.

Have you ever considered joining the cadets? Just to see a snip it of army work.

A few jobs you can look at:
    Marine Biologist
    Marine Engineering

Depending on what stage you are at, you can apply for summer placements whilst in college or complete summer school programmes (in secondary school or college) related to different fields. You can always volunteer somewhere to see whether you can see yourself doing that job.

Make a list of what you like and don't like.
Group some things together (you can put the same thing in a different category)
Try and figure something out by looking at the groups
Ask a careers advisor or look online at what thing those can apply to in a job.
You can take those what career is suitable for me tests but chances are they are not very accurate but gives you something to look at. DON'T follow it religiously.

There are plenty of options out there. They are just waiting for you to find them.
    Good luck!
