What is fresher's week like for students who live at home?

Slightly difficult in that when you're living on campus, there will most likely be get togethers arranged for nights out and drinking beforehand, it's probably not easy to find people to do that with (unless you make friends during the week) so if the nightlife is your thing you may run into some issues there. For the stuff that goes on during the day though, maybe not so much, as long as you make the effort to go in if that's your thing.

Well, it depends how much effort you put in. Obviously it's a little harder as you aren't living on campus and getting ready for nights out with your flat and not pre-drinking with these people and heading to the events together - of course you have to travel and can't drink if you are driving and such - therefore, it makes it a little harder to 'get into the swing of it' but at the end of the day if you attend the events, you'll make friends and socialise that way - it'll just be a slightly different experience to those living on campus.
