Reccomendations!

hello, me and my friends plan to come to york for a night out at the end of august but as we all work in the same place we plan to come on a thursday night. Can anyone reccomend where to go (we're 18 to 21). and will thursday be an ok night out? (See up here thats our student night) Thankyou!

Honestly... i wouldn't really bother coming during the summer. Student nights in York are Tues, Wed and Thurs (depending on where you want to go) but only during term time. The end of august will be the middle of summer, and it'll most likely be deathly quiet. The start of next term for the uni is not til October, so i'd wait til then if i were you. Oh and if you're going on student nights you'll need an NUS, they can be a bit strict about letting you in if you haven't got one at the clubs.
