Help! Should i carry on a level biology?

Help!I got my as results and i got a U in biology. My teacher still let me carry on biology as that grade would not count towards a2.Today i was talking to someone and they said there is no point in doing a2 biology if you did really bad because unis see these grades.I dunno if i should carry it on or not.

I also need biology for midwifery.
Honestly Id say no. A2 will be much more difficult and unless you put no work in this year then I doubt that you'll be able to improve too much. Also your predicted grade wont be higher than an E/D which will be too low for many uni's I presume.

If you are willing to work had and really make sacrifices this year then carry it on. forget getting many offers for midwifery this year and expect rejection, then once u get a good grade on results day apply through adjustment or take a gap year.
