Postgraduate loans deadline

Hello everybody
I read that the money are going straight away on my bank account and the deadline to apply for them is 9 month from the 1 September. Is that true? In this case can I pay in advance with my money and ask for the loans even when my course in the university is already start?Also I would like to ask you if the Italian National Identity Card is a valid document or is better send the passport.

Yep, that's correct - although you should be careful, because you need to have been resident inthe UK on the 1st of September. I'm british, but have lived abroad and am only moving back on the 28th for a course which starts on the 9th of October - was just told that I'm ineligible. It's completely mad.

who told you that??
And how will they know that you were not a uk resident on the 1st of september, as you only need to send them a declaration form and you passport to get funded??
