Just a quick question with the new learners loan rule (level 4, 5, 6, not previous study dependant).

If you get rejected for first year tuition fee loan (previous study level CertHE exit qualification from previous year) via SFE loans but get accepted for the maintenance loan, can you apply for an advanced learner loan instead to help cover the first years tuition fees?

In effect having a normal maintenance loan to live on while also having an advanced learner loan (in place of a tuition fee loan) to cover (or partially cover) tuition fees?
