I have applied for the 2016 intake to study a100 medicine but couldn't secure a place due to my low UKCAT score last year. I am going to apply again for the 2017 session. Can I use the same UCAS account or do I have to apply using a different one? Do I have to write a different personal statement and upload a different reference letter?

You have to make a new UCAS account (at least I had to). You can use your old personal statement and reference if you want to, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. A lot must have changed in a year and you would probably be able to write a better statement now. Good luck this time around
