    Describe to me exactly how your first day of uni ever went, from the moment you got up to the moment you got home!
    What did you do? Was it during welcome week?

    What did you do? Was it during welcome week?

    I'm in certain as to whether you meant moving in day or the first day of courses so I'll describe both for you;

    Moving In Day;
    I got up early, around 8am and packed up three cars of my belongings to take to university. Once all the cars were packed, I got ready and soon set off on the drive, leaving at 11am. Once I got to university, I parked up and headed to reception where I picked up my keys for my room and bought my Freshers bracelet for the week (this means I didn't have to pay for the Freshers events individually).

    I spend a couple of hours then getting everything from the cars into my room and slowly unpacking - I then left my mother and my grandmother in my room and they sorted it out as I went to a Fire Meeting talk. When I got back, my mother and grandmother left to go home and my friends (who'd also came up with me) stayed and we grabbed some food with people in my accommodation. Soon it was time for them to leave and then I was alone and sorted some bits out in my room before starting to get ready to go to the first Freshers Events.

    I got ready and then went to a friends room and started drinking with him and some other friends before we headed to the first event. And the rest is a blur!

    First Course Day;
    I was extremely hungover as the first day of our course overlapped with the last night of Freshers so yeah, I wasn't at my best.

    My course started at 9am so I was up for around 8am (I lived on campus and a 30 second walk from where I had to be). I had some breakfast and got dressed for my course and then waited for my course friends and headed to the lecture building.

    Once there we had a welcome talk about what we were to expect from the course and what was going to happen from that point on. It's fair to say a lot of people fell sleep. It didn't last the whole day and before we knew it we could go for lunch, so, we grabbed some lunch and chilled out for the rest of the day.

    Hope this helped
