Say I got a D in AS maths and chemistry, what would it mean if I wanted to re-sit it?

Would I have to attend all classes or something like that (Yeah, I think that's ridiculous and wouldn't even fit the timetable but I have to erase all possible things it could mean - cause I know there are some ridiculous things with this system such as not being able to get your marked paper and then get it remarked if you want - at least to my knowledge I can't do that).

Or does it merely mean re-sitting your AS exams - cause that would be perfect. And how does that work - when do you do the exams? Earlier in the year or during the same time as the other exams or whenever it suits you?

Or does it mean something different?

    You just resit the papers.
No point resitting Chem as its a reformed A Level and you have to sit it again anyway technically

Yep, you just turn up to those exams at the same time the year below you are sitting it
