Is it big bonus to have a tutor?

I imagine it would be, for GCSEs, A-levels, during your degree...

but make sure you've done everything you can first effort wise. If you are not trying that hard yourself paying for a tutor to come to your house isn't necessarily going to improve your grades. I'd say only have a tutor if you feel like you've tried everything and still the subject isn't making sense for you/grades aren't improving.

It depends. I go to a grammar school where we were all given so much help and work to do, that to fit a tutor into the time that we would be at home and not doing anything would be unrealistic. Try to do everything you can first, and then try to find a tutor because they aren't cheap.

It can make you focus more, which is one of the main issues for people during GCSEs. I guess the question is how much it would help you specifically- was there a particular reason you wanted a tutor?

In all honesty, it's not worth the money, especially when you can do all of it yourself. Think of it as a last resort.

Yes.. But there are also lots of other ( free) revision/ study resources. You could always use cgp books for revision and other kinds of textbook like if you're doing ocr gateway for the sciences those big textbooks you may have see. Plus videos such as hearty maths, Raw maths, my sciencelessons etc on YouTube
