Im currently doing an MA and supposed to be doing my dissertation. In june i found out i was pregnant, told i had a miscarriage, was then hospitalized and told it was an ectopic pregancy. Ive since applied for mitigation and an extension but i dont feel like an extension is long enough. ive now been told that the mitigation panel at my university doesnt meet until after my submission deadline so i wont even know if i get it. Im freaking out thinking im only going to have a month to do my entire MA dissertation and im not in a fit state of mind to do it.

would my circumstances constitute as a serious enough illness for mitigation?
