this year I did my AS exams and unfortunately it didn't go well. I was taking Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Persian. I got E for biology, an E for chemistry, a C for maths and an A* for Persian ( I took As & A2 for Persian ). I heard that the grades for sciences don't really matter that much because we are doing the main exams at year 13 ( for new specification ), so its the prediction grades that matter. I was going to apply for Medicine but at the moment my grades aren't good at all. I can still get into biomedical in some unis? do you guys think biomedical would be the best option? can you please give me some advises about what are the pathwaysand what I should do now?

This depends on how well you think you can do at A2. You need AAA at A2.

Did you get poor AS grades due to lack of effort or because you struggled. Realistically, do you think you can pull yourself together and get your grades up to AAA at A2?

I can't see you being predicted AAA so you'd have to apply in your gap year after achieving AAA.

If you don't achieve AAA then bio med is an option and then do medicine as a graduate. It's not easy but it's do-able.

Main thing is to concentrate on your A2 now. Do the best you can. Regardless of what you do at uni. Medicine or bio med. Then go from there.
