Was he flirting with me?

I'm really bad at judging whether someone is flirting or just really friendly. A few days ago I was at work handing out free samples when a guy came and took one, he then later came in to the shop saying he felt bad taking a freebie and wanted to buy something. He said things like 'it's all your fault' in a jokey way, asked A LOT about me, and at the end said he'd try something else next time he comes in. He made lots of eye contact and at one point our eyes locked for a few seconds which was pretty intense. I can't stop thinking about him since, really sad I know. And I really hope I get to see him again before I move back to university. Does it sound like he was interested in me?
