A-level in further maths or EPQ?

I just got an a* in maths at gcse with 197/200 on my tests. I am hoping to take bio chem physics maths for AS, then either an Epq or another as subject as I want to apply for medicine. Which would be best/ most manageable, as I enjoy maths thoroughly( got gold in maths challenge) but could do a medicine related Epq?
