Thanks for your support. I can't afford to lose her in every single way. She is there because she wanted to go home for a month, but i knew she shouldn't have gone. It could be malaria, but she says it might be something worse. Maybe ebola. She is going for more tests tomorrow.

Title sounds like something from the spam emails

'My wife is very poorly in Kenya, please send 100 dollars so I can visit her and we will re-pay you 200 dollars when we get back'

See I was literally about to type "Let me guess, you want me to send her ten pounds a month?" but it looks like this thread is serious.

Didn't they curb the Ebola outbreak? Probably is malaria, though that's bad enough.

I'm not religious, so perhaps redundant, but I will offer a prayer tonight.

I believe Ebola is on the West coast of Africa.

Kenya is on the East. Very unlikely.

Sounds bad whatever it is. Kenya is a stable/good country compared to 90% of Africa.

You make it sound like losing your wife is a common occurance for you

Sad!
I'm not religious but will send a prayer to whoever might be listening.

Don't worry OP, my sister got Malaria last month on placement and she is OK now. Malaria is common in Kenya, especially the rural areas and people were getting when I went there in August a few years ago but they recovered.

A few of these posts are quite insensitive, it's not at all appropriate.
