Re: Last.fm?This is unlikely to be a complete fix, but give it a go:(Original post by Overground)
Can anyone help me? You will be rewarded
My last.fm profile is 'scrobbling' fine when I listen to music on iTunes, but it is not doing it at all when I listen on my iPod Classic and connect it to the computer. Each time I do, I get a message saying 'no new iPod scrobbles found' in the bottom right hand corner, despite having definitely listened to stuff.
My iTunes library updates fine, but the last.fm doesn't. Anyone know why?
- Open the Last.fm client and go to Tools > Options...
- Click the iPod tab.
- Click the clear User Associations button and press OK.
- Reconnect and Sync your iPod.

This is unlikely to be a complete fix, but give it a go:
- Open the Last.fm client and go to Tools > Options...
- Click the iPod tab.
- Click the clear User Associations button and press OK.
- Reconnect and Sync your iPod.
Fixed it, not quite sure how but I think it was a combination of your helpful pieces of advice(Original post by becky.fm)
Have you got like the really new version of iTunes? Check by going to Help > Check For Updates.
You might get your scrobbles from your iPod back, but you might not. I'm missing loads tbh.
If you do get them back, it won't tell you that it's found new scrobbles, just a last.fm box will appear with the missing tracks.
Reps coming your way in time
thank you very much.

Re: Last.fm?I used to, but then I changed the setting to GMT on settings and since then it has remained correct.(Original post by Stray_talk)
Does anyone else have problems with their time? No matter what timezone I change my account to it never tells me the right time...I'm always an hour or so out.
Have you actually set it to GMT definitively yet? -
Re: Last.fm?They can listen to theirs and other people's playlists, personal tag radios, loved track radios, and they can enable discovery mode which means the software client only plays tracks you've never heard before (where appropriate), and on the actual site there's no ads and you can see who visited your page and when. Plus, if you try to play a radio station and the system is packed, they kick a non-subscriber off so that you can listen. You also get slight preferential treatment from the website in terms of page loading times.(Original post by benmh92)
What extras do subscribers have over normal users on the new last.fm then? -
Re: Last.fm?I find listening to my 5 Star songs on iTunes better. No need for a last.fm subscription for me either now too(Original post by =nuke=)
That's an outrageous thing to say. You can't see who's spying on you now.
I miss my loved tracks station when my subscription runs out. I refuse to look through the list of loved tracks now because I want surprises.

Re: Last.fm?I definitely need my subscription, there's so much music on my Last.fm profile that I don't own, and my tagging and loving of tracks on Last.fm is much more complete than my iTunes ratings, which are for the most part not done at all.(Original post by benmh92)

Re: Last.fm?The tagging thing is another reason why I need to be a subscriber. Other people have started using a lot of my tags so I have to listen to my personal stations or lose the subscription and put up with junk I didn't tag.(Original post by RightSaidJames)

Outrageous enough for someone to re-sub me?
