Open University UG Science to PG Science

Hello!

So I'm 27 and just enrolled with the OU for Natural Science, the route I want to take is chemistry, possibly combining with maths and biology. My concern is that only the physics route is accredited with the IOP and I really want to go on to study life science PG with a brick university.

Is the fact that I'm doing a science, with little practical experience going to knock me down when it comes to applications?

Thanks!

Hi there, I'm prettymuch in the exact same situation though I want to focus more on biology than chemistry. I'm quite interesred to find out the answers.

Hi there. It's the physics pathway is the only route accredited by the IoP, as it's the institute of "Physics". For chemistry or biology, I would surely assume the IoPhysics wouldn't be involved. Have you looked at the organisation for them?

Have you thought about taking the Open Plus route as well?
