How do I write a personal statement for electrical engineering?

I have no work experience or EPQ and I currently do maths, biology and chemistry at A level. I also have no UKMT certificates.

Why do you want to do EE? What interests you about it?

That's what you write about.

You don't need UKMT, an EPQ, and/or work experience. Most applicants don't have any of those things either.

There's sample engineering personal statements on TSR for inspiration. But just be aware, the quality can vary...

Read through some sample personal statements on TSR as jneill said, and look at what unis they applied for. If they applied for Oxbridge, it's fair to assume they put a lot of thought into their statement, so copy one of those, and slowly make drafts changing it to be about you. Then, write a whole new one once you have this edited stolen one to use as reference.

Hope I'm heplful
