When will you start applying through UCAS?

Is it the best to apply on the very first date, September 9th?
I know it's better to apply earlier for the top universities.
(By the way my first choice is UCL social science.)

We have to send ours via the UCAS officer at our school who checks our applications for us plus we have our Personal statements marked for us multiple times so not until November time really

I go to an international school in North Africa, so I had no idea when the students in the UK apply. That was a very useful information for me. Thanks a lot!

Not sure. I think as soon as I know what my teachers will predict me and I've got my personal statement checked I will apply. Earliest will most likely be October 15. But since I'm not applying to oxbridge or medicine probably November the latest.
