Frizzy/ Curly Hair Nightmare: Products or Styles ? :/

I'm going on an 8 day NCS course soon and the idea of being surrounded by new people has made me slightly self-conscious.

I have frizzy curly hair which just seems to look un-neat however I do it, Straightening fixes the issue but I want a less damaging solution.

Does anybody know any hair products that remove frizz (I've tried the frizzease shampoo and serum and haven't seen a huge difference) or know any good hairstyles that don't look crap with frizz?

Any help will be much appreciated D:
