Is an all girls flat that bad?

I've been allocated a single sex flat in endcliffe on the 6th floor, there's 5 other girls in my flat. I was really hoping for a mixed flat, I've heard that there can be lots of arguments with girls living together. Has anyone had any experience of living in a single sex flat? Particularly in Sheffield? If so, what is it like?

If its in Endcliffe (Ranmoor could be similar) I think the flats opposite or above will be single sex male flats. So you can all mix for pre's etc
