I'm applying for Mathematics at Bristol University with an A grade in Maths and a B grade in Film Studies. I also have several ASs and more notably, a very high A grade in Further Mathematics.
I'm sitting A2 Further Maths this year.
I'm also resitting C3 and C4 to try and achieve an A* grade in Mathematics.
The entry requirements are AAA with A in Maths and A in Further Maths; is it worth emailing the university (or other universities of similar requirements) to tell them that I will be applying with a B grade, but will make up for it by achieving an A* in Maths? Will my application even be considered since I have a B grade? Should I email them to make them aware of this? Or abandon all hope?
It is on my UCAS all the exams I am sitting and resitting.
Thanks for all the time you spend helping me, I really do appreciate it.
Applying to an AAA course with an A and B grade, w/ new A-Level this year?
