    I don't know if any of you have read Pollyanna, but the book is about this girl with a very positive outlook in life and introduces the glad game, where you say the things you're glad about in your life and the silver linings/ good of every situation.

    What are you glad about in your life?
    Has something really bad every happened to you then shortly after something good has come of it? If so what?

    I'm really glad to have my pets. They keep me going and bring me back up when I don't feel my best :love: I'm also really glad and grateful that I have found someone who is on the same page as me and accepts me for who I am, warts and all. I was really lucky to find that first time around with a partner.

    In terms of something bad happening and then something good coming from it, I would saying being at my worst with my mental health is the best example I have of that. At my worst with OCD, panic attacks, depression and a few other things I was housebound for 6 months, I lost weight, I had no friends left and I basically lost all hope in ever getting better but I worked my way out of it and now I use my experience to help others who are sadly in a similar situation to what I was in. It kinda makes me feel like my pain had a purpose, even if it just helps one other person during their tough times. I've had a lot of people confide in me and ask me for help and advice and it means a lot to me that they feel comfortable enough to turn to me and that for me is what makes a positive out of a previously negative situation.

    Well everything is good in my life. Life is not perfect but if you learn to appreciate little things it becomes beautiful. Patience and appreciation is something everyone should learn. I don't like remembering the bad and want to paint negative with positive.
