I have an offer to read a Master's at the LSE starting September 2016. I recently underwent surgery earlier this year and still suffering from post-op complications. I physically can't go this September, am I eligible for a deferral request? Do you think it would get granted? I have all medical documents to prove my illness.

Should I contact the course director before submitting the request, or just submit it immediately?

    Thank you

Yes, I don't see why you couldn't defer. Contact your course director and get their take on it, they'll be able to assist you on what to do next regarding defering!

Tell them to hit me up with that place <3 - but seriously yeah I would contact course director ASAP.
    Get well soon

Contact them asap first then you will get a clear idea. I cant see why not.
